SCENE (Shiga Consolidated Educational Network in English) is a site dedicated to offering an online component to English education in Shiga.  This site is available for individual and group memberships.

For the individual member, SCENE offers opportunities to interact and engage online with other English students and teachers.  SCENE also provides original material for review and study.  If you are studying English alone or are looking for additional opportunities to use English, then SCENE is the place for you!

For English language schools and groups (university clubs, ESS groups, etc...), SCENE provides an online English environment to enhance curriculum and facilitate communication.  Group-specific calendars, discussion forums, document folders, and e-mail functions are just some of the features that can be used by members from your school or group.
